There is something rather special about discovering a beauty and wellbeing destination right on your doorstep, and The Blossom Clinic in Suffolk, is exactly that.
Based in the heart of Beccles, the clinic offers a wide range of aesthetic, skin and beauty treatments in a calm, discreet and beautifully designed setting. The clinic is nurse-led and offers everything from advanced skin treatments to lashes, brows and semi-permanent make-up, alongside more indulgent beauty and relaxation services.
A Local Clinic with a Luxury Feel
The Blossom Clinic has built up a great reputation locally within the beauty and health market. They have managed to create a clinic which is not only professional but also very welcoming.
As someone who loves finding local businesses that offer something a little different, I was really excited to be invited along to review one of their most talked-about treatments: the Superior Head Spa.
And honestly? Absolute bliss.
Reviewing the Superior Head Spa
The Superior Head Spa is far more than a simple scalp massage or a hair wash, although it does both of these things. Instead it is a full head to toe experience, designed to completely relax you whilst at the same time providing your scalp, hair and skin with a thorough cleanse and reset.
The treatment began with a digital scalp analysis. This was really interesting to see as it allowed me to see my scalp through magnification on a screen. It showed up the dead skin and the product build-up on my scalp, mainly caused by dry shampoo, styling products, and heat from hair straighteners; there was even a spec of glitter in there!
It makes the treatment more tailored because you can see what is going on with your scalp and why it needs a deep cleanse and to be relaxed.
The Ultimate Scalp and Hair Reset
From there, the treatment becomes pure relaxation. The Rainbow Shower & Cleanse gives that beautiful spa-like feeling straight away, followed by a sequence of treatments that feel incredibly indulgent.
The Superior Head Spa treatment includes a deep shampoo and head massage, a deep scalp exfoliation scrub, an aromatherapy scalp steam, a hair mask treatment and a scalp conditioning treatment. The treatments have all been carefully chosen to give the scalp the best possible cleanse and to nourish and soothe it, as well as leaving your hair feeling clean and light.
By this point, you genuinely feel like you could drift off – which, for most busy women, is probably the biggest compliment you can give any treatment.
More Than Just a Head Spa
The Superior Head Spa is more than just a scalp treatment, the spa includes a foot massage at the beginning, with a mini facial, arm and décolletage massage and a Korean facemask. The treatment really is a full Spa Ritual.
Finished with a blow-dry
My hair was also given a fantastic blow-dry to finish, which added the perfect finish to my relaxed scalp. My hair looked amazing after my treatment and felt so light and fresh, making it perfect for an occasion or just to pamper yourself. I have never felt my scalp so clean, and after we checked back in, the treatment had removed all of the buildup that was once there.
Who Is the Superior Head Spa For?
This is a really lovely treatment to buy for someone as a gift. It would make a lovely birthday treat or indeed any other occasion to celebrate. It would be a great gift for the new mum, for your friend who is always on the go, or for that special someone in your life who you want to treat and give some time to relax and unwind.
