Designed to swipe chopped food to one side and peelings to the other, Chop & Swipe from Addis, offers an hygienic and convenient way to prep food. Big to chop on, but small to store, this chopping board offers a no mess in the kitchen solution, to transfer food to the pot, or waste directly into the composting bin. 

Offering 30cm’s of chopping space, the main board houses the two slide-out side trays, which flip over and slot into place on the sides of the main board, almost doubling the food prep area in seconds. After use, the two trays simply slide back into place and click-lock to cover and keep the board clean, ready for the next chop. 

Swiping is the natural way to organise… left to compost and right to eat. The detachable trays with folded sides, also mean there is no mess when transferring to a pot or bowl and more importantly, no food wastage with chopped items falling onto the floor. 

The silicone rubber feet on the base of the chopping board keeps it firmly in place whilst chopping and the side-trays easily detach during use, to transfer food to the pan, or waste to the compost bin. The board itself is made from 4mm thick polypropylene (PP) plastic and is further strengthened by a hexagonal honeycomb structure on the underneath, to give compression and torsional strength. The trays are made from food grade ABS, which is the strong plastic that telephones are made of. 

The slimline design of the board also means it doesn’t take up precious storage space in the kitchen.
