Exploring Martinhal Sagres on Wheels: Biking Adventures and Unforgettable Experiences

During our stay at Martinhal Sagres, we took full advantage of the resort’s excellent bike hire facilities, and it truly enhanced our experience in more ways than one. As a family, we rented two e-bikes and a trailer for our boys, which allowed us to embark on exciting biking adventures and discover the natural wonders of the region. One of the most memorable excursions we embarked on was a visit to Cape St. Vincent, the most southwestern point of Europe.
Equipped with our bikes, we set off on a thrilling journey to Cape St. Vincent, located just a short distance from the resort. As we cycled along the scenic coastal roads, we marveled at the stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean and the rugged cliffs that define this part of Portugal’s coastline. The boys thoroughly enjoyed the ride in the trailer, and it provided them with a comfortable and safe space to relax while taking in the beautiful surroundings.
Cycling through this pristine natural setting allowed us to teach our children about geography and history in a hands-on and engaging way. We pointed out notable landmarks, shared stories of seafaring adventures, and discussed the importance of preserving such unique environments. It was a wonderful opportunity to instill a sense of wonder and appreciation for the world around us.
