Plant-Based period care brand lauches in selected Tesco Stores

FLO, the female-founded, eco-friendly and organic period care brand started by two LSE graduates, announces that its period products will launch into more than 200 stores across the UK and online from 19th February 2024.

As menstrual products are most often a habit-driven purchase that shoppers pickup in their weekly shop, FLO’s availability in Tesco means that consumers will nowbe able to choose period products which are plant-based, plastic-free, supercomfortable, 100% organic and socially-impactful. Tesco joins Boots, Superdrug,Holland & Barrett, Ocado, Whole Foods, WHSmith Travel and other high-street retailers stocking the groundbreaking brand.

Shoppers can choose from four of FLO’s bestselling products: FLO Bamboo Day and Night Pads (each £3.50), which are ultra-soft, super absorbent and made with100% organic bamboo certified by Oeko-Tex and Ecocert; FLO Bamboo Liners(£3.00), also made from 100% organic bamboo and home compostable; and FLOEco-Applicator Tampons (£4.00), made from 100% organic cotton with smooth sugar cane applicators and compostable wrappers for the most fuss-free introduction to an eco-friendly period.

Susan C. Allen, Co-founder & Chief Brand Officer, says, “We are super excited to launch with Tesco and have the opportunity to bring FLO to grocery for the first time! We believe our product is a perfect fit with the Tesco consumer and will bring them not just more choice in the period care aisle, but a dollop of sustainability and a dash of sunshine!
