
Cosy up this Christmas with with Emmi Fondü
Emmi Fondü Original serves as the perfect treat for any occasion whether you are hosting a party or finishing holiday gift wrapping or spending time at home. The Swiss mountain cheese fondue from Emmi requires only brief heating time to produce its creamy texture and deep flavors.
The fondue requires no special equipment because you can heat it up and then use it to dip your favorite foods including bread and potatoes and chorizo and charred vegetables.
The Swiss tradition of fondue becomes accessible through Emmi’s pre-made fondue which enables you to create Alpine magic during your Christmas celebrations.
This Swiss cheese fondue product allows you to create hot gooey cheese dishes for cold December nights through simple preparation.

Heat the fondue in a saucepan or fondue pot while stirring until it reaches a velvety cheese dip consistency. The combination of bread chunks with mini sausages and roasted vegetables and pretzels creates a social winter treat that works well for bonfire gatherings.
The product is suitable for vegetarians and contains no lactose. The product contains alcohol.

Crispy Potato Fondü Dippers
Ingredients:
- 1kg starchy potatoes, like Russets, peeled and very thinly sliced
- 5 tbsp goose fat, melted
- Salt
- Vegetable oil, for frying
- 1 Emmi Fondü kit
Method:
- Lay parchment paper inside your baking tray or loaf tin,
- Build up layers of the thinly sliced potatoes followed by a drizzle of melted goose fat and a sprinkle of salt. Continue until the tray is full.
- Cover with baking parchment and bake for 1 hour at 170 degrees until they are soft.
- Leave the parchment on top and weigh the potatoes down with tins or weights from your scales. Pop into the fridge overnight.
- Cut the potatoes into squares and put them into the freezer for 10 minutes.
- Into a pan pour in enough oil to cover the potatoes and heat it up. Drop the frozen squares in, a few at a time and fry until crisp all over. This should take about 5 minutes.
- Meanwhile, melt the Emmi Fondü in a saucepan or fondue pot, stirring continuously.
- Leave the potato dippers to drain on some paper before sprinkling with salt and dipping into deliciously melted Emmi Fondü.
