To celebrate my son’s fourth birthday, my family and I headed to Benihana Chelsea – and what an unforgettable experience it turned out to be. The moment we entered the building we understood that dining at this establishment involved more than food service because it focused on building enduring family memories.

A place with heart

We received a genuine welcome at the restaurant which led to our immediate seating at our reserved private dining area. Our excitement grew to its peak when our personal chef arrived because he proved to be an exceptional person. The performer used his knives to create a spectacular display of tricks and fire effects which made both children and adults watch in amazement. A fire show performance will entertain you during your dinner while maintaining complete safety at your dining table.

Fun for everyone

Our boys were in their element. The kids’ menus cleverly folded into paper hats, which soon became part of the fun. It was their first time trying Japanese food, so chopsticks were a novelty in themselves – cue plenty of laughter and proud moments when they managed to master a bite or two. The chef’s performance of flipping and juggling and cooking in front of them created an unforgettable birthday experience.
