As a busy working mum of two, “me time” isn’t exactly on my agenda very often, so when I found out Weavers’ House Spa had created a special Mama’s Morning full of pampering, pastries and peace and quiet, I gave myself a much needed morning off.
With my eldest son starting pre-school and my youngest with his grandparents, I slipped off to Lavenham for some R&R.
Available until the end of October, Mama’s Morning includes three blissful hours with use of Weavers’ heat and relaxation suites and a 60 minute treatment, plus complimentary pastries and hot drinks throughout.
After filling out my consultation form over a banana and blackberry smoothie, I was then led up to the treatment room by my therapist Laura for the Bliss60 treatment.
This is a nurturing 60-minute face and body treatment, designed to lull you into some ‘you time’.
Laura tucked me up under my spa duvet. I enjoyed a wonderful medium pressure massage followed by a facial and scalp massage infused with sleepy scents.
The comforting, holistic touch is designed to release, and reduce anxiety and over thinking. After one hour I felt like a new woman again. I even commented to Laura I think it was the best treatment I had ever had… quite a statement!
I was then lead to the quiet room for a personalised tea and delicious blackberry macaroon. When I found myself again I took advantage of the use of Weavers’ outdoor vitality pool heated to 35 degrees Celsius, steam room and sauna.
Finally to finish the morning I enjoyed coffee and pastries in the spa lounge.
I would highly recommend this package to mum’s (and dad’s) who need to take a little bit of time to catch up with themselves.
