Nestled in the heart of London, Royal Lancaster London beckons with its timeless elegance and impeccable service. Recently, we had the pleasure of being invited to experience their luxury family-friendly stay, and it was nothing short of enchanting.

A touch of magic

The hotels commitment to providing a memorable family experience was evident from the start. As a special touch, upon arrival, each of our children was presented with a charming Paddington Bear, setting the tone for the whimsical adventure that awaited us upstairs.

Within the comforts of our Park Suite, our children were delighted to find a snug enchanted forest-themed tepee, adorned with fluffy animal pillows, twinkling fairy lights and plenty of animal-themed toys, all set within a room boasting views of London’s own enchanted forest – Hyde Park.

The package offered a delightful combination of luxury accommodations for parents and children, with adjoining rooms and separate bathrooms. Our spacious and beautifully appointed living area provided a comfortable retreat for the entire family, complete with thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home.

Making memories

Provided for our enjoyment was the opportunity to use an instant Polaroid camera. This considerate addition brought an additional dimension of excitement to our stay, as we delighted in capturing spontaneous moments and crafting enduring memories throughout our time at the hotel.

The emphasis on seasonal, locally sourced ingredients ensures a fresh and flavourful dining experience. The stylish decor and panoramic views contribute to a relaxed atmosphere perfect for various occasions.

The Hyde Lobby Bar is a chic and inviting space, ideal for enjoying a leisurely afternoon tea or evening cocktails. While in the vicinity, we seized the opportunity to discover attractions like the London Eye, indulged in a bit of shopping, and treated the kids to a visit at Shrek’s Adventures.

The hotel served as an ideal launching pad, positioning us perfectly to explore some of London’s hottest spots, and the best part, the nearest tube [Lancaster Gate] was just a few minutes away.
