Bury St Edmunds Trio announce the Bury Santa Experience

arc shopping centre, Our Bury St Edmunds and the Bury St Edmunds Town Council are delighted to announce that the ‘Bury Santa Experience’ is coming to town, which will bring a snowy enchanted forest, Santa’s toy shop and Santa’s traditional grotto cabin to the town this Christmas.

The Bury Santa Experience will consist of three interactive rooms, offering a truly unique and magical experience, including all the sounds and scents you would expect to find in Lapland.

Shoppers are invited to visit the Bury Santa Experience located next to Hobbs on Auction Street in arc shopping centre to meet Bury St Edmunds’ very own elves, Clara and Clive, plus their new resident and forest guardian, Oakley the owl, who will welcome visitors into the experience.

With Oakley’s trail guide, visitors will be able to immerse themselves in the charming walk through the enchanted forest, looking out for all the animals that live there before reaching Santa’s Toyshop. Here the little ones will learn where presents are made and have fun playing with the giant toys. Families will then enter Santa’s Grotto, where they will experience the true magic of Christmas, receiving a gift from the elves on departure.

It is expected that the Bury Santa Experience will be extremely popular and booking is essential, as it will not be possible to enter without pre-booking. www.arc-burystedmunds.com. Tickets will be on sale from 9am on Friday 5th November. The Grotto will open on Friday 26th November and will be open on various dates until Christmas Eve.

The tickets will cost £10 per child – this includes admission to the experience and a gift.  No cost for up to two adults over 18 accompanying children. Under 1s go free. If adults would like to visit the experience without children, you will need to purchase a child’s ticket and will be classed as a fully paying customer.

Discounts are available for Bury St Edmunds school bookings; please email [email protected] directly to book. Limited spaces are available at discounted rates.

20% of all ticket sales will be donated to Suffolk Mind. Amanda Sturgeon, External Relationships Manager at Suffolk Mind said: “We can’t thank the arc shopping centre, Bury St Edmunds BID and the Town Council enough for supporting Suffolk Mind as part of this Christmas experience. It’s been fantastic working with them for the last two years to raise awareness and funds to support mental health in Suffolk as part of our charity partnership.”
