In a double-header announcement, The Jockey Club Live are excited to welcome CRAIG DAVID and HAÇIENDA CLASSICAL to the Newmarket Nights line-up. Headlining consecutive Friday’s in July, Craig David will be returning to the racecourse on Friday 21st July, with Haçienda Classical making their debut on Friday 28th July.

23 years since the critically acclaimed album, ‘Born To Do It’ changed his life, CRAIG DAVID has since catapulted back into the charts and into the nation’s hearts with a string of chart hits marking his triumphant return. Craig has since leapt from strength to strength on our airwaves and has been unavoidable on our TV screens and on the live circuit ever since. An astounding 23 UK top 40 singles, nine UK top 40 albums and over 5 billion streams worldwide, Craig David has achieved multi-platinum status in more than 20 countries around the world in his career. With two UK Number 1 albums under his belt, he has also received multiple BRIT Award and Grammy nominations, 4 x MOBO Awards, as well as becoming a 3x Ivor Novello Award winner.

HAÇIENDA CLASSICAL is the widely acclaimed live orchestral clubbing series which has cemented itself as theultimate night out. Helmed by DJ Graeme Park and accompanied by the Manchester Camerata Orchestra and special guests, the concert brings arrangements of much loved, defining anthems once played at the legendary Haçienda nightclub plus new versions of club classics all mixed continuously into one non-stop set. Their reinterpretation of seminal classics results in a legendary celebration of dance music.

The wildly successful series has opened Glastonbury Festival’s Pyramid Stage, toured festivals including Isle Of Wight, Kendal Calling, The Big Feastival as well as headlining individual concerts at London’s Royal Albert Hall and their annual homecoming at Manchester’s Castlefield Bowl.

Newmarket Nights returned in full force in 2022, with showstopping headline performances from household names including The Script, Anne-Marie and Paloma Faith. The season was concluded with a sold-out set from Pete Tong & the Symphony Orchestra, which saw over 16,000 fans descend onto the green for a glorious summers evening. The Jockey Club Live events continue to be renowned for combining an electric evening at the races with a spectacular evening concert in an informal and relaxed open-air setting. 

Tickets for CRAIG DAVID and HAÇIENDA CLASSICAL at Newmarket Racecourses will be on sale at 10am on Friday 24th February via, with a presale available to customers at 10am on Wednesday 22ndFebruary.
