Back to School for Mums: The delilah Beauty Heroes That Get Me School-Run Ready

When September arrives, families begin preparing for the return to a routine: children get their uniforms ready and school shoes shined; lunch boxes are being stored for another day of school, and the constant summer routine has thankfully finished after 750 seemingly never-ending days.
However, whilst preparing the children for school, we mums should treat ourselves to a special back-to-school makeover, and if it doesn’t mean spending hours to perfect beauty-making at the crack of dawn-with three kids who need dressing, breakfast, and help getting to school-then this is right for me.
It really consists of a group of essential products that do their job, can be applied quickly, and make me feel somewhat more myself in the space of moments.

This product feels amazing when used without needing a makeup brush of any kind so an easier application method when things are a bit crazy has come our way.
Brow Line Retractable Eye Brow Pencil with Brush – Ash
During those precious morning minutes when we are doing the most work and are pushed to the limit to ensure the kids are ready to go… Brows will always remain one thing to never skip even during rushed mornings.
A brow pencil with a built-in brow brush at each end can remove the endless rummaging around the makeup bag.

So not many beauty products really give as good and much needed of an impact in such a small amount of time than the mascara. It has provided a polished, everyday lash and not a ‘going out’ appearance and it is perfect for making the makeup look really finished so it might not be eight hours of sleep, but this definitely brings back the human look in my face and makes everything stand out with very minimal use of a beauty product at all so it is just the trick of applying mascara perfectly to bring the eyes to life when needed for your mummies.
Lip Line Long Wear Retractable Lip Pencil – Naked
This neutral lip liner is the kind of product that for a while, it totally missed me – until now!

I use mine to softly frame the lip line before layering up either a lipstick or a gloss.
Colour Gloss Ultimate Shine Lip Gloss – Jewel

It’s not about suddenly revamping the whole thing because September has dawned. It’s about reclaiming a few precious minutes, investing in products that make you feel good again, and remembering that after six weeks of packed lunches, sun cream applications, sibling disputes and ensuring entertainment for all… maybe Mum deserves some focus too.
