Each product has been created specifically for children’s developing haircare needs.

Children’s hair is more delicate than adult hair. It’s important to continue using gentle child-specific products as they grow older, to avoid damaging the developing hair. Their thinner hair (plus wriggly sleeping and adventurous lifestyles) is renowned For creating tangles. Childs Farm undertook some research with 51 girls aged 2-8 years old, to better understand attitudes towards hair washing.

54% said they loved having their hair washed but the remaining 46% said they would rather eat vegetables, tidy their room, do homework or go to the dentist! Unsurprisingly, the most common reason For not wanting their hair washed is getting water in their eyes, Followed by it taking too long. The study also identified a need For heat protection, as 72% of parents regularly blow-dried their children’s hair after washing. These insights helped Childs Farm to develop a new and improved haircare range designed specifically with little ones in mind – ensuring scalps are cleansed, strands are nourished and tangles are easier to tease.
