Suffolk-based businesswoman, Melanie Fielden, believes that the UK is ready for some cowgirl!

The rapidly growing country music scene in the UK has inspired Melanie to fulfil a childhood dream by launching a new western and bohemian fashion brand and blog, Melbelle.

Melbelle provides a fashionable place for fans of country music and lifestyle to shop. In this new online store, you can expect cowboy boots, romantic western and bohemian inspired dresses, denim and of course it wouldn’t be western without some hats! Designed to provide stylish outfits that blend modern fashion with western and bohemian influences, Melbelle’s outfits are as equally at home on the high street as they are festivals and gigs.

Melanie Fielden, the founder of Melbelle says, ‘The response that we’ve had in the build up to the brand launch has been wild; it’s the stuff of dreams – literally. Since the age of 7 I’ve dreamt of being a cowgirl! It’s not just country music fans that have been queueing for the launch, we’ve had huge interest from equestrian enthusiasts, fans of British country and boho style, and many more. It’s clear that the UK is craving cowgirl style!’

Created out of a love for all things country and American, including country music, Melanie also aims to help raise the profile of British country music artists through the Melbelle blog. In addition to features on the blog, the Melbelle team and Melanie will be setting up stalls at the country’s music festivals together with the artists, doing meet and greets and providing an opportunity to shop the range in person.
