Coinciding with the UK’s most popular birthday month, Moonpig has launched its biggest ever collection of toys with new ranges from both The Entertainer & Early Learning Centre.
With up to 200 exciting new gifts to choose from, Moonpig customers can now treat the little ones in their life to toys from hit brands such as Peppa Pig, Disney, Paw Patrol, Squishmallows and LOL Dolls.
Whether you’re celebrating the arrival of a new baby, or a little one’s birthday, the new ranges from The Entertainer and Early Learning Centre on Moonpig have all of life’s celebrations covered with a selection of toys that can be sent alongside a perfectly paired and personalised card.
The new toy collections have been designed to complement Moonpig’s existing range of licensed cards, meaning you can now send a matching gift to complete your order! So if they’re a Bluey, Barbie, or Disney fan, life just got even easier to create a one-of-a-kind personalised gift.

To celebrate the arrival of the latest collection, Moonpig has teamed up with behavioural psychologist Dr Amanda Gummer to share some insights into how different types of toys can help children thrive at different ages.
- The Early Years: During the early years, children are just beginning to understand the world around them, and they are developing basic motor skills, learning how to grasp, manipulate, and interact with objects. Language underpins almost all aspects of social development, and early language acquisition promotes interactions with others and helps to foster these important skills. Therefore toys that incorporate language such as Talking paddington will support children’s development in this area.
- Preschool: During the preschool years, children are likely to enjoy creative and unstructured play. Toys that allow flexibility but also encourage problem-solving, such as construction sets or ELC’s Giant Activity Aqua Mat are ideal for this age group as they offer children the opportunity to express their creativity while supporting their fine motor skill development.
Toys that encourage social interactions such as small-world or role play help children develop communication skills that are valuable in a range of careers and can form the foundation of jobs such as counselling, teaching, police, journalism and many more. Props such as a Peppa Pig flip Phone can help children play imaginatively and develop complex storylines. - Primary Years: As children go through primary school, they are ready for more challenging toys that help them progress their developing interests and skills. Increasingly complex problem-solving games, sports and role play involving acting out real life situations are great at this age. Games such as Monopoly can teach children about basic economics and business to help them understand the commercial world.
- Pre-teens: By the time children reach the pre-teen years, they are ready to tackle more advanced construction techniques and integrate technology into their play. Toys like robotics kits allow children to apply construction skills in a more complex, real-world context. These types of toys not only sharpen problem-solving abilities but also prepare children for real-world engineering challenges.
David Rimmer, Moonpig’s UK General Manager commented on the launch of the new collection: “From the first cuddle to their first birthday and beyond, we want to make every milestone magical with a perfectly paired card & gift combination and we know that this new partnership with The Entertainer and Early Learning Centre will help make celebrating those moments even more special.”
For those looking to treat little ones up to the age of 3 years, the Early Learning Centre toy range is ideal as it supports children’s learning and development through play. Along with puzzles, interactive toys and soft toy characters from popular children’s books and shows, including The Gruffalo & Peter Rabbit. And for those shopping for kids aged 4 years and above, there’s a broad mixture of toys from The Entertainer, including Disney figures, Hot Wheels sets and craft kits that are certain to put a smile on children’s faces along with Early Learning Centre toys that are focused on getting little ones ready for primary school.
With a gift to suit all price points and occasions, the new collection of best-selling toys vary in price from £12 to £35. Discover the new ranges from The Entertainer & Early Learning Centre on Moonpig, here & here.
