Frank Turner returns to Barclaycard presents Latitude in support of the forthcoming new album “Undefeated”. “Undefeated”, released on Friday, May 3, is a record that explores both emotionally compelling topics and lighter reflections on those troubles that eventually come to most of us: who you are versus who you wanted to be in your youth, life-altering love, fading friendships, wistful nostalgia, the mental fallout and political consequences that still linger from the pandemic era, and the more prosaic issue of persistent backache. “Undefeated” serves as Turner’s 10th studio album and the follow-up to his critically acclaimed #1 UK album, “FTHC”.

Frank said , “I’m excited and honoured to be back at Latitude festival again. I played the first one in 2006 and this will be my fifth visit, so it’s reconnecting with old friends, as well as bringing my new record to the people of Suffolk. I can’t wait.”

Having set a towering bar for synth-pop in the 21st century, Alison Goldfrapp – the magnetic British songwriter, vocalist, performer, and producer – is recognised for approaching each iteration of her stellar career from an innovative new position. Her seven albums with Grammy-nominated Goldfrapp were fuelled by an unfailing modernity and a sixth sense for sounds that were more timeless than any trend. Alison Goldfrapp is back to share her first solo album, “The Love Invention”, a festival-ready dance-pop record perfect for Latitude.

Alison said, “I’m thrilled to bring The Love Invention to life on stage at the stunning Latitude festival. Having performed back in 2017, returning in 2024 with my solo work feels special. This album was tailor-made for festivals—vibrant, pulsating, and high energy. Latitude festival is a wonderful mix of culture and the arts. Its beautiful setting makes dancing the night away the perfect place to be!”

Seasick Steve’s return to Barclaycard presents Latitude this year marks a triumphant homecoming for the beloved performer, who has graced the festival stage in 2008, 2011, and 2015, each time leaving an indelible mark on the audience. Riding high on the anticipation of his upcoming album release, “A Trip A Stumble A Fall Down On Your Knees,” scheduled for June 7th via SO Recordings, Steve’s lead single, “Backbone Slip,” sets the tone for what promises to be a gritty, introspective collection. It’s been almost 20 years since Seasick Steve’s celebrated appearance on Jools Holland’s Hootenanny launched the unknown American singer-songwriter to worldwide fame, and his beat-up three-string Japanese guitar and old wooden stompbox made musical history. The overwhelming response surprised nobody more than Steve himself who went on to rack up over 2 million album sales and release three UK Top 10 albums.

Lottery Winners are the working class underdog story of 2023. “Anxiety Replacement Therapy”, the UK Number 1 album from the Lottery Winners not only topped the Official UK Album Charts, but is also the 5th highest selling first week album of the year, selling more copies in the UK than U2 and Miley Cyrus. Blanco White, the English singer-songwriter, and guitarist also known as Josh Edwards, has also been announced for Barclaycard presents Latitude, where he will showcase his unique blend of folk, indie, and electronic music infused with influences from southern sun and Latin American culture. His musical journey began with a pilgrimage to Cadiz, Spain, to study flamenco guitar with renowned guitarist Nono García, followed by immersion in traditional folk music in Sucre, Bolivia. This fusion of Latin American and Andalusian folk, combined with his English roots, defines Blanco White’s distinct sound. His latest album, “Tarifa”, reflects his exploration of collaboration, discovery, and cultural exchange, inviting listeners on a transcendent journey across continents.
