The Wood Life Project is a family-run lifestyle brand that aims to replace everyday plastic items with beautifully designed, eco-friendly, British-made and sourced wooden products.

The business was created by husband and wife team Jimmy and Hazel Russell, parents to two young boys. It was built out of concerns for the future of our planet and the legacy which was being left behind.

The plastic crisis, buying cheap and mass-produced items from overseas with massive carbon footprints. All things which are contributing to the deterioration of our planet and eco-systems.

Eco-friendly, sustainable, British-made and British-sourced materials go into all of their products, right down to the packaging they use. All packaging is FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) approved that has been sourced in an environmentally-friendly, socially responsible and economically viable manner.

It is also from a carbon neutral and using carbon capture scheme. They also use local printers and suppliers where possible, to ensure that everything we produce leaves as little environmental impact on the planet as possible.

Going the extra mile – unlike other eco-friendly brands who go 1000’s miles to source their products and materials such as bamboo, The Wood Life Project go the local mile by sourcing materials from the UK only.

They have a range of products on offer from dog bowls, cat bowls, kids bowls and not forgetting the porridge bowls (a bowl for each member of the family).
