Santa’s Post Office is coming arc shopping centre

This Christmas, arc shopping centre will be home to Santa’s magical Post Office.

On Friday 27th November, Santa’s Post Office is officially opening at the shopping and restaurant destination in the heart of Bury St Edmunds. It will provide an opportunity for children to write a letter to the big man himself and send their wish lists to the North Pole. To make this experience extra special, each child will receive a personalised response back from Santa.

The Post Office is open daily between 9am – 5pm for children to post letters and can be found in Charter Square outside Costa. Santa’s Elves will be at the Post Office from 11am until 3pm every Saturday and Sunday from Saturday 5th December until Sunday 20th December, organising the letters and handing out the personalised responses to each child.

How the Post Office works:
Write your letter to Santa at home. (Include child’s full name and the grown ups contact details)
Visit the magical Post Office located in Charter Square, arc shopping centre
Post your letter
Come back the following weekend to collect your personalised response (allowing 5 working days to collect your response)

As Santa is a very busy man,the last day to post letters and receive a reply is Sunday 15th December.

The centre has put COVID-19 safety measures in place to ensure all shoppers are safe whilst visiting the Post Office.
Hand sanitiser dispensers will be located at the Post Office.
The Elves will be wearing masks and gloves at all times.
Customers are advised to keep 2m apart from other families posting or collecting letters.

Steve Bunce, Centre Manager said “We are very excited to play host to Santa’s Post Office this Christmas and bring the Christmas magic to Bury St Edmunds. The Post Office is free of charge to ensure that as many families as possible can enjoy the experience and celebrate the festive season with us here at arc shopping centre.“
