BURLEIGHS GIN IS “TICKLED PINK” WITH ITS LATEST LAUNCH
Burleighs Gin has introduced a new flavour to its range of artisan gins, that’s perfect for sipping in the spring and summer sun.
The Raspberry Edition Gin is the distillery’s first flavoured gin, which is produced by steeping Burleighs’ award-winning signature gin recipe in raspberries and peaches.
Available now from the Burleighs Gin website, the blush-coloured drink is a fresh and fruity yet delicate gin which is delicious on its own with a tonic, or as a base for cocktails such as a Gin Fizz.
Created by head distiller Charlie Hendon on her copper-pot still Messy Bessy at the rural Leicestershire distillery, it offers gin fans on-trend flavours and a vibrant and inviting colour.
Charlie said of the launch: “With barbeques, picnics and warm alfresco evenings just around the corner, what better time to launch our most refreshing and fruity gin yet.
“The combination of the raspberries and peaches with the signature Burleighs recipe, creates a long and smooth gin, where the flavours bounce off each other and are distinctive, yet the drink is fresh and light – an important quality for gin lovers in the summer.”
The new addition follows a series of recent launches which includes the National Forest Gin, launched as a partnership with the forestry organisation providing a donation from every bottle sold to the National Forest itself, as well as the delicately mixed ready-to-drink gin and tonics.

Sam Watson, commercial director, added: “We’re extremely excited to add this delicious and authentic pink gin to Burleighs’ core range.
“We hope gin lovers will agree the new drink has a classic and elevated taste that we’ve built our reputation on, but with added freshness and a subtle sweetness that’s summer-friendly, lending itself to a range of drinks and cocktails. It’s one of our most versatile bottles yet.
“Whilst we have our delicious Pink Edition Gin in the range, which is inspired by Japanese cherry blossoms during Hanami, the new Raspberry Edition Gin has a very different flavour and look.”
For the perfect serve, Burleighs recommends serving 50ml of Raspberry Edition Gin with premium tonic and plenty of ice, then garnish with fresh or frozen raspberries and a spring of mint.
The Burleighs Raspberry Edition Gin (37.5% ABV in 70cl bottle) is now available for £32.50 plus delivery and can be purchased via the official Burleighs Gin website: www.burleighsgin.com
