Seckford Hall boasts 32 individually styled rooms, ranging from classic rooms and spacious suites to the opulent four-poster rooms, each offering a unique blend of historic charm and modern luxury.

Our stay in one of the loft rooms at Seckford Hall was nothing short of luxurious. The room seamlessly blended historic charm with modern comfort, featuring exposed wooden beams and contemporary decor.

The highlight, without a doubt, was the stunning copper bath that dominated the spacious bathroom.

Indulging in a long, relaxing soak was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring the local area. The room also offered a plush king-sized bed, a cozy seating area, and all the amenities one could wish for, ensuring a restful and enjoyable stay.

Seckford Hall’s offers a delectable menu highlighting the best local and seasonal produce.

The 1530 Restaurant has been awarded 2 AA Rosettes and is set in a stylish Tudor-inspired restaurant.

Each course of dinner was beautifully presented and bursting with flavour, from the fresh seafood starters to the succulent main courses and indulgent desserts.

Breakfast the next morning was equally impressive, offering a wide array of options to suit all tastes, from traditional English fare to lighter continental choices.

The spa garden is a tranquil haven, providing a serene environment to relax and rejuvenate. We spent a blissful afternoon enjoying the outdoor hot tub, sauna, and steam room, surrounded by lush greenery and the soothing sounds of nature.

The indoor pool area is equally inviting, perfect for a leisurely swim or a relaxing lounge by the water.

A range of spa treatments is also available, from massages to facials, all designed to leave you feeling pampered and revitalised.

Additionally, the spa lounge offers a delightful afternoon tea experience. Savouring delicious pastries, scones with clotted cream and jam, and a variety of teas while lounging in the serene spa environment added an extra touch of indulgence to our stay.

Local Area

The local area around Seckford Hall is rich in history and natural beauty. Woodbridge, with its charming streets, independent shops, and historic sites, is just a stone’s throw away. We particularly enjoyed a visit to the Tide Mill, one of the oldest working tide mills in the country.

For nature enthusiasts, the Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty offers stunning coastal walks and wildlife spotting opportunities. The hotel’s staff were more than happy to provide recommendations and directions, making it easy to explore and make the most of our stay.
