REVIEW: Haier I Pro Series 5 Tumble Dryer

When I had my first child my life completely changed, shortly followed by my washing load! Now two kids, one dog and two cats down my washing situation was in need of an upgrade. I previously owned a washer dryer, which took around 8 hours to get clothes damp, so something had to be done. I then found out about the I Pro 5.
The best part about this tumbler dryer is that with hOn App and artificial intelligence, from the touch of your phone, you can manage your I-Pro Series 5 Tumble Dryer anywhere and at anytime.
The Hygiene function helps you keep your laundry perfectly sanitised, by killing bacteria on the garments. In addition, its elegant and refined semi-touch-screen gives an extra hint of style and perfectly matches with the washing machine.
I-TIME
Ideal for mums like me on the go… I-Time is the function through which you can add time to the selected cycle, in order to fulfil your need or will to dry fabrics in a deeper way. The time of the cycle could be increased pushing the dedicated button. Different programs add different amounts of time, according to the duration of the original cycle.
SOFT ON YOUR LAUNDRY
No need to worry about your best garments here… the special pillow-shaped pads mean your laundry slips gently over the surface as the drum spins, never catching the fabric and causing it to deteriorate in quality.
LARGE DRUM
The large drum is 9kg which ideal for medium-sized households. I find I can get so much more into this than other machines. It reduces my workload making life just that little bit easier. This also matches my Haier Series 4 Integrated 9kg Washing Machine – so my loads always match.
Save energy
This saves me money! Heat pump technology cleverly conserves heat inside your dryer’s drum, not only lowering energy consumption by up to 50%, but also ensuring your laundry is taken much better care of compared to a regular tumble dryer. The lower energy consumption also means that you’re able to use more than one of your appliances simultaneously, saving you even more time!
hOn app
With the I Pro 5, there is the option of connecting to the Wi-Fi and downloading the hOn app to enable you to remotely control the washer-dryer from wherever you are. The Washing-Lens function allows you to scan your washing labels to find the best washing cycle for that particular garment. As well as choosing and customising from more than 60 specialised cycles for each type of fabric, you can access convenient tips on stain treatment and tips on the type and quantity of detergent you should be using.
THE VERDICT
It used to take my days to get my washing dry, if it was raining outside I would have to use a clothes horse and turn the heating up high – gone are those days!
I used to have a washer dryer which took 8 hours to get clothes to a damp state, so now I have the i Pro 5 I don’t stress myself out laundry problems any more as I know that Haier has me covered!
