ZSEA Christmas Grotto’s
Help Father Christmas save our native birds at Banham Zoo and Africa Alive this festive season.
Step foot into the zoo’s magical woodland-themed grotto as Christmas elves guide you through two enchanting activity rooms, before getting the chance to meet Father Christmas himself!
You can also enjoy breakfast with Santa or an afternoon tea experience.
What we thought…
The Christmas Grotto experience offers 3 Christmas-themed activities as well as all-day entry to the zoo.
Once we checked in to Santa’s workshop, our children met their very own conservation Christmas elves, and got to do a little bit of colouring before making a wish for the world on the Christmas Wishing Tree.
Up next, we headed into the woodland workshop, where the elves were on hand to explain the importance of protecting native species we also created a Christmas bird feeder wreath to take home and put in the garden.
We ended the magical Christmas experience with a trip inside Father Christmas’ front room. Our children received a special ‘zoo themed’ present.
It was the perfect way to kick off the Christmas season.
