Autumn Adventures: Our Favourite JoJo Maman Bébé Looks for AW26

JoJo Maman Bébé AW26 – By Rachel Ducker

There’s something about children’s autumn fashion that might just make it my favourite season to shop for. Chunky knits return, rich berry and earthy shades replace summer brights, and suddenly getting dressed is all about cosy layers, practical pieces and outfits made for crisp walks, muddy puddles and weekends spent outdoors.

And JoJo Maman Bébé has absolutely understood the assignment for Autumn 2026.

This season’s collection manages to capture that lovely nostalgic feel we associate with JoJo – think Fairisle knits, traditional dungarees, florals and beautiful little embroidered details – while still feeling incredibly wearable for busy family life.

As a mum of three, I’m always looking for children’s clothes that fall into that sweet spot between adorable enough that I want to photograph them in it and practical enough that they can actually play in it. These are some of the pieces that have particularly caught my eye for the season ahead.

The Girls’ Edit: Berries, Florals & Beautiful Knits

Fuchsia Pink Floral Cardigan & Beret Set

If there’s one outfit guaranteed to make me excited for cooler weather, it’s a matching knit and beret.

The Fuchsia Pink Floral Cardigan & Beret Set, priced from 36, brings a gorgeous hit of berry colour into an autumn wardrobe, with a Fairisle-inspired tulip design, scalloped edging and coordinating beret. The cardigan has a classic button-down front and soft knitted finish, making it an easy layer to throw over dresses, leggings or jeans as temperatures start to drop.

It’s quintessential JoJo: traditional without feeling old-fashioned, and just ridiculously cute.

For an autumn family day out, I’d pair it with tights, boots and a simple dress underneath and let the knit do all the talking.

Plum Purple Ditsy Floral Sweatshirt & Wide Leg Jogger Set

JoJo Maman Bébé AW26

For nursery days and those mornings when getting everybody dressed and out of the house feels like an Olympic event, matching sets are my secret weapon.

The Plum Purple Ditsy Floral Sweatshirt & Wide Leg Jogger Set, from 32, is one of those wonderfully easy outfits that still looks as though you’ve made an effort.

Made from soft cotton, it combines a tonal ditsy floral print with relaxed wide-leg joggers and a gorgeous embroidered collar with lace trim. The elasticated waistband and relaxed shape mean there’s plenty of freedom for running, climbing and generally doing everything toddlers do best.

Add trainers for nursery or layer it beneath a padded coat and boots as the weather gets colder.

This is very much the kind of outfit I know I’d repeatedly reach for.

Burgundy Floral Frill Collar Cardigan

JoJo Maman Bébé AW26

Burgundy has to be one of the ultimate autumn colours, and this Burgundy Floral Frill Collar Cardigan, from 28, is such a lovely way to introduce it into a little one’s wardrobe.

The beautiful frilled Peter Pan collar has a delicate ditsy floral trim, while mock wood buttons add to the traditional feel. It’s also machine washable – because however lovely children’s clothes are, that part is non-negotiable in our house.

Layer it over dresses and tights for something smarter, or pair with cords or leggings for everyday wear.

It’s one of those pieces that instantly makes an outfit look pulled together.

The Boys’ Edit: Countryside Colours & Cosy Layers

The boys’ collection is equally strong this season, particularly if – like us – your autumn weekends tend to involve wellies, countryside walks, pumpkin picking and children returning home considerably muddier than they left.

The palette feels wonderfully seasonal, with rust orange, khaki green, navy and classic stripes running through easy-to-layer pieces.

Rust Orange Harvest Embroidered Knitted Jumper

This might be one of the most autumnal children’s jumpers I’ve seen.

The Rust Orange Harvest Embroidered Knitted Jumper, comes in a rich burnt-orange shade and is scattered with tiny embroidered harvest vegetable details. Made from 100% cotton, it has a chunky knitted feel with ribbed trims and an easy button fastening at the back.

Pair with cords, jeans and boots and you have basically created the official uniform of pumpkin-picking season.

It’s playful without feeling novelty, which means there’s plenty of wear in it right through autumn.

Khaki Green Tractor Fairisle Knitted Jumper

There are certain JoJo designs that feel like instant childhood classics, and the Khaki Green Tractor Fairisle Knitted Jumper, from 30, absolutely falls into that category.

The Fairisle-inspired design incorporates little tractors across a wonderfully countryside-appropriate khaki green knit. With ribbed cuffs, neckline and hem, it’s designed as an easy cold-weather layering piece for everything from weekend walks to everyday outings.

Throw it over a T-shirt with cords or jeans and add a borg fleece or coat when the temperature drops.

For tractor-loving little ones in particular, I can see this becoming a firm favourite.

Blue Stripe 2-Piece Dungarees & Top Set

Dungarees are one of those childhood staples I don’t think ever really go out of style.

The Blue Stripe 2-Piece Dungarees & Top Set, pairs navy striped jersey dungarees with a coordinating long-sleeved top.

But it’s the practical little details that really win me over. There are adjustable double-button straps and roll-down hems designed to offer some extra growing room, alongside roomy side pockets and an embroidered apple detail on the front pocket.

It’s comfortable enough for nursery and exploring but still has that lovely traditional JoJo look.

Add a knitted hat, waterproof jacket and wellies and they’re ready for just about any autumn adventure.

Clothes Made for Proper Childhood

What I continue to like about JoJo Maman Bébé is that its children’s collections feel designed for children who actually do things.

These aren’t precious outfits that only work for photographs.

They’re made for nursery mornings and National Trust trips; jumping in leaves, collecting sticks, running around the garden and inevitably discovering the muddiest puddle within a five-mile radius.

There’s also a timelessness to many of the designs that feels particularly welcome when we’re all becoming more conscious of how we shop. A beautiful cardigan, knitted jumper or pair of dungarees can be worn repeatedly throughout a season and then passed down to younger siblings rather than following a fleeting trend.

For Autumn 2026, JoJo Maman Bébé has taken everything we already associate with the brand – playful details, traditional children’s clothing and practicality – and wrapped it up in a particularly lovely autumnal colour palette.

And frankly, if somebody could now arrange the crunchy leaves, pumpkin patch and hot chocolate, I’m ready for autumn.
