Thirteen may be unlucky for some, but Norfolk’s largest live Halloween event is revelling in the superstition as it returns for its thirteenth year of fear.

After its most successful year to date, reaching a record number of ticket sales and over 20,000 visitors, plus completely selling out during its final four nights of terror – PrimEvil returns in 2022 ready to break even more records.

The award-winning scare experience, featuring five terrifying haunts full of unimaginable scares, will be taking place on selected nights from Friday 14th October until Halloween itself.

Full of suspense and shocking surprises, PrimEvil will be taking the scare-factor to another terrifying level this year, as street performing actors wander the Park ready to scare anyone who walks by.

Many of the haunts have been reimagined and there is a brand new haunt that will be making its debut at PrimEvil in 2022 – but only if people can cope with its terror.

Hell’s Hollow is where chaos ensues as imaginations and fears go into overdrive in the darkest of lanes. Set in a bygone era where people went missing or were found mutilated and there were no rules, this new haunt will evoke the smells, sounds and sensations of a time where people prayed for mercy.

Other haunts include Mayhem Manor Hotel – which is under new management, where there are mazes within mazes, endless corridors and a host of nasties who think they own the place; to Route 666, where a hillbilly family is waiting for visitors to join them for supper – or be supper – but first visitors must escape the new terror that lurks in the woods.

There’s also the Crypt, where the hidden chambers have been opened, releasing a new evil into the ruins; and the Circus of Terror, a carnival of fear as the eerie jester Malvado has moved into the circus and disposed of the old inhabitants.

For those that don’t run away screaming, there will be food to enjoy along with a bar serving blood-curdling cocktails and additional entertainment will also be taking place for visitors to enjoy.

Ben Francis, PrimEvil development manager, who began his PrimEvil career as a scare actor before becoming park manager at ROARR! Dinosaur Adventure, said: “Every year, PrimEvil gets bigger – not to mention more terrifying – and this year is no exception.

“The backstories of our haunts have been altered for 2022 and will provide our visitors with the most spine-chilling experience in the history of PrimEvil. If you thought our characters were nightmare-inducing last year, just wait until you meet our newest character Malvado.

“We’ve also continued our work with Haunted Lantern this year, to provide guests with the first interactive controllable lantern – we are one of only a few attractions to use this technology and it’s something that really turns up the scare-factor.”

Prices range from £25 for standard tickets and £35 for the PrimEvil finale during the last nights of terror, with the additional option of VIP and Fast Track tickets for the ultimate PrimEvil experience.

Tickets for PrimEvil are recommended for people aged 12+, but anyone under the age of 16 has to be accompanied by an adult at all times. They are available to buy now from www.primevil-scare.com
